Center

Center by Waves is a mid-side processing tool that gives you control over the center and sides of an already-mixed stereo track. It separates the phantom center channel from the sides, letting you adjust vocal levels, widen or narrow the stereo image, and rebalance sounds panned to the middle or edges. Use it to open up space for synth pads, reduce mud, remix drum loops, or even fix a finished mix when the multitrack session is unavailable. The low frequencies can be narrowed for vinyl mastering. Center distills complex mid-side techniques into an easy-to-use plugin, making it ideal for hobby producers and mastering engineers who want to fine-tune or “remix” stereo mixes without access to individual tracks. It suits anyone working with already-mixed audio in FL Studio, Ableton, or Logic.
