Trans-X

Trans-X is a transient shaper plugin from Waves that gives you precise control over the attack and sustain of your tracks. Whether you want to make drums punchier or softer, add attack to acoustic guitars, or smooth out electric bass, Trans-X lets you shape transients with ease. It offers both Wideband mode for traditional single-band processing and Multiband mode, which splits audio into four independent bands for detailed control. You can even target transients based on level and duration, and focus on specific frequencies by editing band ranges. Phase-compensated crossovers minimize filter coloration, and gain and release time parameters let you fine-tune the shaping. With 25 presets from top engineers, Trans-X is ideal for hobby producers looking to add life, drama, or subtlety to their mixes, whether working on individual tracks or full stereo mixes.
