Shakere

Shakere brings the warm, organic voice of a handcrafted West African percussion instrument straight into your DAW. This sample-based instrument captures the shekere’s distinctive sound, produced by wooden beads striking a dried gourd, with eight Kontakt microphone options for shaping your tone. Play it by shaking, rubbing, or striking to access its natural articulations, and enjoy a presence that cuts through a mix more assertively than most small percussion. With 40 audio files and 834 Kontakt samples, it’s ideal for adding authentic texture to Afro-Caribbean rhythms, world fusion, indie pop, or any track needing human-feeling percussion. It suits hobby producers working in FL Studio, Ableton, or Logic who want ready-to-use ethnic percussion without a huge library. Whether you’re layering grooves or building a rhythm from scratch, Shakere delivers tactile, lively results.
