Heritage Audio’s BritStrip plugin recreates the company’s BritStrip console channel strip, combining a 73-style inductor EQ with a diode-bridge compressor modeled after the Successor. The EQ delivers musical boosts even at extreme settings, with a mid-band ideal for punchy drums, guitars, and vocals, plus a Class-A high-pass filter and shelving bands with bell mode. The compressor offers a Blend control for parallel processing and a sidechain filter for frequency-focused dynamics. Flexible internal routing lets you place EQ before or after compression. Two versions are available: a lightweight BritStrip without preamp and a full version with a modeled 73-style preamp. It suits hobby producers tracking and mixing rock, pop, and electronic music who want vintage analog character and glue in one plugin.
