Icescapes

Icescapes by Soundiron is a Kontakt and Decent Sampler library built around the sounds of snow and ice. Recorded on a frozen mountain pond, skipping stones and ice chunks create strange, sci-fi zinging tones via flexural waves, while ice block impacts, slides, and snow foley add natural texture. These organic sources are shaped into 83 playable atmospheric leads, ambient synths, pads, drones, and creative effects. Use the raw ice and snow hits as percussive replacements for kicks, snares, or hi-hats, or as sound-design material. The library includes an adaptable LFO system, 12 filter types, a customizable arpeggiator, and key/scale lock for easy melodic work. Ideal for hobby producers crafting ambient, cinematic, or experimental tracks who want evocative winter textures and unusual percussion in their music.
