Lo-Fly Dirt is a character-driven effects plugin from AIR Music Technology and MSXII Sound Design, originally a mobile app now rebuilt for desktop and MPC. It specializes in lo-fi saturation, filtering, and vintage texture. Seven modes cover subtle default saturation, 12-bit MPC60-style grit, low-pass filtering with bit reduction, vinyl emulation with adjustable noise, and 8-bit console mangling. A single character knob warms, lifts, and adds classic lo-fi color to drums, keys, samples, or full mixes. Use it to age digital sounds, add crunch to beats, or introduce vinyl crackle and buzz.
