Groei

Groei is a four-voice drum machine built for producers who want organic, evolving rhythms without menu-diving. Its intuitive sequencer lets you click in steps manually or use four levels of generative rhythm creation, so patterns shift subtly with each bar. Each voice has independent control over step length, subdivision, pitch, attack, release, volume, panning, filter, drive, and random pan. The included round-robin sound library spans kick, snare, percussion, hi-hats, organics, and plastics, with normal and slow versions recorded to 1/4 tape on a vintage Nagra IVS. Drag and drop any .wav file—loops or one-shots—directly onto a voice. A pedalboard-style effects section lets you reorder effects in real time. Whether you make hip-hop, electronic, or experimental beats, Groei suits hobby producers seeking a fast, musical drum machine that feels alive and unique.
