El Jaguar

El Jaguar is a sample-based instrument that captures the raw energy of Barranquilla’s underground music culture by re-amping Afro-Caribbean percussion, marimba, vintage drum machines, and modular synths through Colombia’s iconic Picó sound systems. The result is a warm, distorted, and moving toolbox of sounds designed to cut through modern Latin rhythms, hip-hop beats, and experimental electronics. Crafted with local artists and analog processing, El Jaguar offers a versatile palette of textures that pulse with the spirit of the street. It suits producers looking for distinctive, characterful sounds that add grit and movement to their tracks. Whether you’re crafting reggaeton, hip-hop, or leftfield electronic music, El Jaguar delivers a living, breathing sonic experience built to move bodies.
