Ample China Konghou

Ample China Konghou is a deeply sampled virtual instrument that brings the 76-string Peacock-type Konghou to your DAW, performed by virtuoso Ye Lin. Powered by the Ample Sound 4.0 engine, it offers eight expressive articulations—arpeggios, tremolos, harmonics, and pre-vibrato—plus a unique glissando system that auto-generates scales between two notes with control over timing, intensity, and tonality. Recorded with five close and ambient mics in AB and MS stereo, it delivers rich, nuanced detail. The redesigned 5K-ready interface includes an updated Riffer piano roll for intuitive articulation editing, voice-independent SAHDS modulation, and studio-grade FX like 8-band EQ, dual compressor, 6-tap echo, and IR reverb. Ideal for film, game, and world music producers seeking authentic Chinese textures, from delicate tremolos to sweeping pentatonic runs. iLok protected, no dongle required.
