Ample China Qudi

Ample China Qudi brings the expressive voice of a traditional D key Qudi flute to your DAW with remarkable realism. Performed by Xiaokui Ding on a handcrafted Elegant Wind series instrument, this 4.4 GB library captures the lyrical, breathy character that makes the Qudi so distinctive. You get three articulation groups—Head, Body, and FX—with a dynamic legato system that responds to velocity and supports Double Legato mode for fluid phrasing. Four velocity layers on Expression, plus true vibrato and trill samples, let you shape emotive lines with detail. Voice-specific SAHDS modulation and an adjustable Wind layer add natural breath and movement, while five mic positions and built-in EQ, compression, delay, and IR reverb give you mix-ready control. Creative Mirroring reverses articulations in real time for extra expression. Ideal for film, game, and world music composers, or any producer seeking an authentic Chinese flute sound.
