Ample Bass Jaco Fretless

Ample Bass Jaco Fretless is a virtual instrument that recreates the iconic fretless Jazz Bass tone, modeled after a Fender Custom Shop Jaco Pastorius Relic. It delivers the expressive, singing character of fretless bass with 13 articulations, including artificial harmonics and slides, plus a dedicated fretless slide engine and polyphonic legato for fluid, lifelike performances. The Riffer 4 MIDI engine and Tab Reader 4 support Guitar Pro files, while the virtual amp system, mic options, and built-in effects (EQ, compressor, delay, convolution reverb) provide complete tonal control. Ideal for jazz, fusion, cinematic scoring, and any style needing organic low-end with personality, this plugin suits producers and composers seeking authentic fretless bass without a physical instrument. Whether you’re chasing the classic Jaco sound or crafting something unique, it offers deep MIDI control and realistic string visualization for easy, expressive playing.
