Soliste DBS 1130 – Double Bass

Soliste DBS 1130 is a physically modeled double bass plugin from Expressive E, designed for expressive real-time performance. As the foundation of the string section, it delivers deep, rich lows and subtle articulations that add solid grounding and character to your music. The advanced physical modeling engine responds fluidly to your playing gestures, letting you transition seamlessly between sustain, bow strokes, and tremolo. Three expressive playing modes cater to different styles and sensitivities, whether you’re shaping natural bow motion or controlling tremolo on the fly. While it shines with MPE controllers like Osmose and Touché, it also works well with traditional MIDI keyboards. You can adjust bow response, vibrato behavior, and body characteristics to match your feel. Ideal for hobby producers and composers seeking realistic, expressive solo bass lines in genres from classical to cinematic and beyond.
