Evolve Velvet

Evolve Velvet by Excite Audio is a sample-based synthesizer built for warm, nostalgic tones. Its quad-layer engine lets you blend four sample or synth layers, morph between them with the XY pad, and shape the result using four macro effects: Soften, Warmth, Sway and Haze. With over 250 sound sources—felt pianos, classic electric keyboards, strings and vintage 70s/80s synths—it covers intimate acoustic textures through to lush electric tones. You can import your own samples, randomize patches with one click, and modulate parameters via drag-and-drop envelopes and LFOs. Dual filters and a rearrangeable 3-slot FX chain provide further polish. It suits producers sketching soulful jazz chords, building lo-fi house grooves or crafting psychedelic pop, and anyone seeking cozy, instantly playable vintage character.
