BRUITAGE

BRUITAGE by MNTRA Instruments is a distortion effect that reacts to your performance, turning every note into a dialogue between signal and grit. Six hand-tuned algorithms cover parallel overdrive, wavefolding, shoegaze haze, bitcrush glitches, and tape wobble. Dual parallel cores let you stack character without blurring transients, while a reactive wet/dry blend breathes around your playing or overtakes it on demand. The X/Y/Z performance surface makes amount, texture, and motion instantly playable. Integrated compression and dual-mode limiting from the Borealis engine keep extremes musical and mix-ready. Ideal for producers who treat distortion as an instrument—whether adding punch to drums, texture to synths, or chaos to sound design. It suits hobbyists and professionals seeking expressive, immediate grit in FL Studio, Ableton, or Logic.
