Hollywood Fantasy Strings is a cinematic strings library built for scoring fantasy, medieval, and epic game or film soundtracks. It combines five iconic period instruments from the Medieval, Renaissance, and Baroque eras—such as lutes and hurdy-gurdies—with modern octave-doubled orchestral sections, all recorded on the same stage for a cohesive, larger-than-life sound. The library offers 147 instruments across six ensembles and two solo instruments, with true legato and diverse articulations. Lutes and dulcimers are captured in trios for a sparkling stereo image that cuts through dense mixes. Running in EastWest’s Opus player, it includes full stereo mic placement and the same microphone positions as Hollywood Strings, ensuring seamless blending. Ideal for hobby producers and composers working in FL Studio, Ableton, or Logic who need authentic folk strings to give their orchestrations a distinctive, cinematic edge.
