SD-PE1

SD-PE1 by Slate Digital is a passive program equalizer plugin that faithfully models a legendary 1960s outboard unit, now part of the Virtual Mix Rack ecosystem. Unlike typical EQs, it delivers the unique behavior of passive circuitry, with the option to toggle the traditional tube-stage saturation on or off—so you can add warmth and color or keep the signal clean without losing output level. Additional frequencies and stepped/incremental selection give you far more flexibility than the original hardware, making it a tinkerer’s delight. Its rich, musical character excels on drums, bass, vocals, and mix bus, adding analog weight and texture. Ideal for hobby producers seeking authentic vintage tone and hands-on control in FL Studio, Ableton, or Logic.
