MUM M8 DSP is a low-pass filter plugin that recreates the smooth, vacuum-like tone of the classic Akai S950 12-bit sampler filter. It adds resonance, saturation, and bit-depth reduction for extra character. The filter sounds super smooth on complex sources, while clipped overdrive and aggressive self-oscillating resonance push it into acidic, gritty territory. A unique clock bleed switch introduces audible artifacts that emulate hardware quirks, and the bit depth control downsamples input for a more character-rich output.
