Kolor

Kolor by Native Instruments is a distortion effect plugin built for producers who want to add character, grit, and color to their tracks. It offers ten distinct distortion algorithms, ranging from subtle saturation to aggressive crunch, each capturing the essence of classic analog hardware circuits. Whether you’re warming up a vocal, adding edge to a synth, or crushing a drum bus, Kolor delivers a versatile palette of tones with modern flexibility and control. The algorithms are derived from the acclaimed Guitar Rig 7 Pro and are now available as standalone components, making it easy to integrate into your workflow. Ideal for hobby producers working in FL Studio, Ableton, or Logic, Kolor suits genres from electronic and hip-hop to rock and pop. It’s perfect for anyone seeking authentic vintage distortion emulations without leaving their DAW.
