CR-1

CR-1 by Black Salt Audio is a straightforward effects plugin built for producers who want to add serious attitude to their drums and mixes. Its CRUSH circuit injects grit, weight, and explosive energy, making every hit slam harder and cut through a busy arrangement. You get full control over dynamics: flatten transients for a punchier attack or add controlled weight to thin, brittle tracks. The distortion stage delivers aggressive, musical character—dial in subtle warmth or push it for chaotic, transformative grit that turns dull sounds into bold statements. CR-1 is fast, intuitive, and impossible to ignore, ideal for hobby producers working in FL Studio, Ableton, or Logic who need to make tracks hit with authority. Whether you’re shaping individual drum hits or adding overall punch and personality, this plugin gives you the tools to crush, slam, and obliterate your way to a more commanding mix.
