Echo Cube is a dual delay plugin that recreates the rare Cooper Time Cube, an early 1970s hardware unit that produced echo by sending audio through coiled tubes of air rather than tape or BBD circuits. This emulation, based on a serviced original, offers two independent delay lines (A and B) with dedicated time, feedback, and level controls. Three models are included: Time Cube faithfully reproduces the original’s short, fixed delays and acoustic filtering, while Garden Hose and Corrugated are experimental DIY-inspired variations for sound design. Routing modes include serial, parallel, ping pong, mono sum, and mid/side, giving precise control over stereo image and delay interaction.
