Analog Channel Native from McDSP bundles two distinct analog-modeling tools into one plugin. AC101 recreates the behavior of high-end channel amplifiers, letting you push gain into saturation without digital clipping. A drive control sets how hard the signal hits the compression zone, while adjustable attack and release shape the distortion character. AC202 emulates analog tape machines, offering bias, playback speed, IEC1/2 EQ, selectable head types and tape formulations, plus adjustable low-frequency roll-off and head bump independent of speed. You also get control over tape saturation recovery time. The result is warm, musical color ideal for drums, guitars, synths, and aggressive vocals. Zero-latency algorithms and double-precision processing keep it responsive for tracking and mixing. This v7 upgrade adds Apple Silicon and Intel optimization, redesigned high-definition interfaces, new presets, real-time saturation curve displays, and both mono and stereo versions. It suits producers who want authentic analog character in their mixes.
