NEON

NEON is a virtual drummer plugin built for nu disco, dance-pop, and house productions. It delivers the tight, snappy, on-top-of-the-mix drum sound that defines modern disco-inspired tracks, with a driving rhythmic feel that pushes the groove forward. Inside you get five acoustic drum kits recorded from vintage 1970s Ludwig and Rogers sets using era-specific mics and outboard gear, then processed through a modern mixing console for a signature blend of warmth and punch. The plugin includes 690 drum phrases across 30 styles, covering intros, verses, choruses, and fills, so you can quickly assemble arrangements without programming every hit. A Real/Glam slider shifts the character from natural and open to processed and punchy, while six mix presets like Snap, Crunch, and Glossy help your drums sit in the mix. Separate outputs for close mics, overheads, and room give you mixing flexibility. NEON suits hobby producers and enthusiasts who want production-ready disco drums without deep sampling knowledge.
