Lucid

Lucid is a granular effects plugin that deconstructs any incoming audio into individual grains and reassembles them into evolving textures, harmonies, and rhythmic patterns. Its grain scale-lock automatically retunes every grain to your chosen key and scale, so pitch and time manipulation never loses the musical foundation. Timeline sync keeps stretching, freezing, and scrubbing locked to your session, making it easy to create shimmering pads, glitchy stutters, or arpeggiated atmospheres that stay in time. Per-grain processing includes a multi-mode filter, harmonic grain delay, and stereo imager for detailed shaping, while chord and arp modes turn simple sources into rich harmonic content. With 350 presets, performance macros, and an animated XY pad, Lucid suits producers of ambient, electronic, and experimental music who want to push samples and instruments into new sonic territory without breaking creative flow.
