Angels

Angels by Sequins is a granular effects plugin that transforms any audio—vocals, synths, field recordings—into evolving, unpredictable textures. It scatters sound into up to 40 grains, each with independent position, size, and pitch, letting you create dense clouds or sparse, shimmering particles. Tempo-synced grain timing locks to your DAW for rhythmic pulses, while a tape mode adds wow, flutter, drive, and hiss for vintage cassette character. Dual reverbs (pre and post granular engine) smear input and add space, and pitch quantization across 60+ scales—from Western modes to Indian ragas—keeps grains musically coherent. The Marbles-style Deja Vu randomness system loops, shuffles, or randomizes parameters while remembering happy accidents. With freeze mode, feedback up to 100%, and 9 factory presets, Angels suits producers exploring ambient, experimental, and electronic music who want to turn ordinary sounds into living, breathing textures.
