Traslasierra Guitars

Traslasierra Guitars is a sample-based instrument from ZAK Sound that captures three handcrafted acoustic guitars made by luthier Nicolás Barberis in the mountains of Córdoba, Argentina. It includes a warm nylon-string, an articulate steel-string, and a resonant twelve-string, each multi-sampled across its range with multiple dynamics and three microphone perspectives (neck, bridge, and XY stereo). The library also features playable pads derived from streams, waterfalls, birds, and other environmental recordings from Los Hornillos, which can be layered independently beneath the guitars. With multiple playing characters like open strings, lower frets, picked articulations, and natural harmonics, it suits producers seeking organic, intimate acoustic tones for singer-songwriter, cinematic, ambient, and experimental music. Ideal for hobbyists and professionals alike, it runs in the free Raizes Player and works with all major DAWs.
