Screech Machine is a three-oscillator synthesizer from Rave Generation built for aggressive screeches and cutting leads. Its oscillators offer ten waves including a JP-8000-style supersaw, a hoover-style saw PWM and ring modulation, with up to nine unison voices and hard sync. A shared post-oscillator chain—filter, drive, filter, waveshaper, OTT and EQ, then phaser, saturation, chorus, reverb and a final clip—means polyphonic chords distort as a single signal, much like running a chord into a pedal. A ±48-semitone pitch envelope with five contours (Drop, Dive, Rise, Bounce, Hoover) shapes each note, while a modulation envelope, two LFOs and the mod wheel animate the chain. With 16-voice polyphony or mono/legato modes, plus 11 filter models and a morphing waveshaper, it suits producers of rave, hardstyle, EDM and experimental electronic music looking for instant, editable screech presets.
