Quad-2 Upgrade from Quad

The Quad-2 Upgrade from Quad is the next-generation 16-voice virtual synthesizer from Rob Papen, designed for sound designers and producers who crave deep sonic exploration. It builds on the original Quad with a refreshed interface and powerful new tools: a creative Ribbon Controller, expanded filter types (including the Albino-3 Legend Cream Filter), and an enhanced ARP with Ratcheting and a Free row for controlling oscillator XY fields. Each oscillator features Phase Distortion and WaveShaper with two XY-Pads, movable via an extensive modulation matrix or the Ribbon Controller. With over 1200 presets, a bank manager, and a comprehensive FX suite—Stereo Tape Delay, top-notch reverb, 11 modulation FX, 33 distortion FX, EQ, and FX filter—Quad-2 delivers a uniquely expressive sound palette. Ideal for electronic music producers using FL Studio, Ableton, or Logic on Windows, this upgrade unlocks advanced sound sculpting for hobbyists and professionals alike.
