Buttr

Buttr is a guitar composition tool that puts the sound of real session players right inside your DAW. Built from thousands of studio-recorded chords performed by actual guitarists, it captures the nuance and feel of live playing without you ever touching a guitar. Browse chords by key, quality, variation, playstyle, and guitar type—including electric, nylon, and steel string—then build custom progressions chord by chord or start from artist-curated presets. Each chord can be dragged straight to MIDI in seconds, making it fast to sketch ideas or finish full arrangements. A curated effects section adds movement and character with Wobble, Reverb, Tape, Pump, and Filter. Ideal for hobby producers in FL Studio, Ableton, or Logic who want authentic guitar parts in pop, rock, indie, or cinematic tracks—no session guitarist required.
