Ronan Fed ESSENCE v1.3 x64 VST VST3 WiN [FREE]

Ronan Fed ESSENCE is a free 64-bit subtractive polyphonic synthesizer for Windows, available in VST and VST3 formats. It suits hobby producers working in FL Studio or Ableton Live who want to build layered synth sounds with onboard modulation and effects.

The sound engine combines three multi-voice oscillators, each offering eight voices with detuning and stereo spread, alongside dedicated noise and sub oscillators. Oscillator sync adds another sound-shaping option. Low-pass, band-pass, high-pass and vowel-style formant filtering let you sculpt the tone, while adjustable filter and amplitude envelopes control how each note develops.

For movement, ESSENCE provides two modulation envelopes and a tempo-synced LFO with a random waveform and polarity adjustment. Glide, vibrato and stereo imaging offer further control over pitch transitions and width.

Built-in processing includes compression, gain adjustment, hard-clipping distortion, saturation, chorus, delay, reverb and EQ, so you can shape and finish patches within the instrument. Version 1.3 updates the interface, expands modulation options and adds 28 presets for exploring the synth before designing your own sounds.
