OpenTune is an open-source vocal pitch correction tool that blends a standalone editor with a VST3 plugin workflow. Rather than simple DSP transposition, it uses RMVPE pitch extraction and a PC-NSF HiFiGAN neural vocoder via ONNX Runtime to regenerate tuned vocals while aiming to preserve the singer’s formants. The editor centers on graphical tuning: draw pitch curves, edit detected notes, use anchor tools, detect key automatically, and correct to scales like Chromatic, Major, Minor, Pentatonic, Dorian, Mixolydian, and Harmonic Minor. It runs as a standalone app or VST3 plugin, with ARA2 support in compatible hosts when integration behaves correctly. GPU-accelerated inference is available through DirectML on Windows and CoreML on macOS. The interface supports Chinese, English, Japanese, Russian, and Spanish. It suits hobby producers and home-studio vocalists on Windows or macOS who want hands-on, curve-based pitch editing inside FL Studio, Ableton Live, Logic Pro, or the standalone editor, without relying on one-knob automatic correction.
