Traverse is a lo-fi tape cassette effect and stereo delay combined into a single plugin. The cassette section uses a hysteresis-modeled tape engine with Drive, Wow, Flutter, and a bipolar tilt-EQ Tone control, while the delay offers Time, Feedback, Width, sync, and ping-pong. A routing toggle lets you place the delay before or after the cassette, so it works as either a tape-flavored delay or a cassette effect with echo built in. On top, a four-control splice system generates procedural dropouts, and a noise generator with nine styles—including Hiss, Crackle, Hum, and Card Reader—feeds into the cassette path. It suits hobby producers working in FL Studio, Ableton, or Logic who want to age drum buses, add room tone to vocals, lofi pads, or create self-saturating drones from guitar chords.
