KickSpace is a transient-triggered pan modulator that adds stereo width to kick drum transients while keeping the low end mono-compatible. It analyzes incoming transients and applies one of four pan modulation shapes — Single, Double, Triple, or Burst — to spread the attack across the stereo field. Adjustable stretch handles let you position each shape precisely, so you can shape the width to match the tempo and groove of your track. A real-time oscilloscope with goniometer visualization shows exactly how the stereo image is being affected, helping you avoid phase issues. This plugin is aimed at hobby producers working in FL Studio, Ableton Live, or Logic on Windows or Mac who want their kicks to cut through a busy mix without sacrificing mono compatibility. It works well on electronic, hip-hop, and pop productions where wide snares and other elements compete with the kick. Available in VST3, AU, and LV2 formats for Windows, macOS, and Linux, KickSpace is a free tool that solves a common mixing problem: getting a kick to stand out without making it sound thin or phasey in mono.
