Smoke Mono 1 is a free monophonic analog-modeling synthesizer created by Grammy-winning producer Mike Dean. It delivers a complete synth with no trial limits, watermarks, or time restrictions. The virtual analog engine offers saw, square, triangle, and sine waveforms, plus a sub-oscillator with octave select and real unison detune for thick, detuned tones. A Moog-style ladder filter provides cutoff, resonance, and envelope amount, with keyboard tracking and self-oscillation at high resonance. The custom saturation circuit adds grit while preserving low end, ranging from warm tape saturation to aggressive overdrive. Glide and legato modes enable smooth portamento and connected phrasing, with last-note priority for mono play. A full ADSR envelope shapes both amplitude and filter, with separate depth control for the filter envelope. Built-in effects include host-synced delay (default 1/4 note), reverb with freeze, and chorus for width. Ideal for hobby producers using FL Studio, Ableton, or Logic on Windows or Mac, Smoke Mono 1 is suited for basslines, leads, plucks, and pads that need character and low-end weight.
