NEOLD U2A v1.0.0 – SEnki

The U2A is a meticulous emulation of the classic opto compressor that has defined countless recordings, but it goes further by letting you control the very characteristics that make each hardware unit unique. With the Aging knob, you can dial in the sound of a freshly serviced unit or a vintage original, capturing the subtle nonlinearities that come with age. The Recovery control adjusts the program-dependent release of the T4B opto cell, giving you flexibility beyond the fixed timing of the original. Separate controls for makeup gain and THD injection mean you can apply tube saturation independently from compression, and the onboard mix knob enables parallel processing. Additional features include the R37 sidechain filter and a limiter mode switch. Designed for hobby producers using FL Studio, Ableton, or Logic on Windows, the U2A delivers smooth, musical leveling with the ease of use that made the original legendary. Whether you’re tracking vocals, bass, or mix bus, this plugin offers the fat, natural compression that has been a staple of hit records for decades.
