Trama is a standalone stem separation tool that splits mixed audio into vocals, drums, bass, and other using Meta’s Hybrid Transformer Demucs model. It runs entirely offline on Windows, macOS, and Linux, so your files never leave your machine. Choose any combination of stems; unselected ones are merged into a single “other” file. Three quality presets—Normal, High, and Ultra—trade processing time for cleaner separation, with High (2.5×) a sensible default. Batch processing lets you queue multiple files, with per-file and overall progress plus ETA. Input supports WAV, AIFF, MP3, and FLAC; output is always 32-bit float WAV. Settings like stem selection, preset, and output folder are remembered between sessions, and WAV metadata (BWF, cue points, labels, ID3 tags) is copied to every stem. It’s aimed at hobby producers and remixers using FL Studio, Ableton, or Logic who want quick, offline stem extraction without a subscription or cloud upload.
