WetEQ is a free four-band equaliser plugin modelled on a classic British large-format console. Instead of approximating a frequency curve, it recreates the actual circuit behaviour: each band is its own amplifier stage that saturates within its filter loop, so driven boosts and cuts compress and shift character like real hardware. The LF and HF shelves plus two bell bands each offer ±15 dB, and the bell Q is tied to the gain pot, meaning gentle moves stay broad while harder turns tighten up — there is deliberately no Q control. High-pass and low-pass filters leave the circuit entirely at the ends of their travel, and all eleven stepped knobs have seventeen detents (hold Shift for finer resolution). Input drive pushes the pre-EQ amplifier harder for colour. You also get per-stage crosstalk, noise, and component tolerance for a naturally imperfect stereo image, plus real-time peak metering, full VST3 automation and a resizable UI. It suits hobby producers on Windows, macOS or Linux who want console-style tone shaping in FL Studio, Ableton Live, Logic Pro or any VST3 host.
