Kazrog MHB Red v1.0.0 WIN MAC LINUX-GTA

MHB Red is a vintage-style compressor plugin created by Kazrog in collaboration with Grammy-winning mix engineer Michael H. Brauer. It models the Fairchild 666, a rare hybrid opto-compressor from Brauer’s personal collection that has been a staple in his vocal chain for years. Unlike the more common Fairchild 660 and 670, the 666 combines tube amplification with solid-state control circuitry, giving it a distinct character that blends compression with subtle saturation. The plugin offers modernized controls for attack, ratio, threshold, release, and makeup gain, plus a dedicated THD knob to dial in harmonic warmth from gentle tube color to more aggressive drive. For mixing, it includes sidechain high-pass and low-pass filters, stereo linking, and a wet/dry mix for parallel compression. Kazrog’s Analog Entropy adds authentic component-level variation between channels. MHB Red is aimed at hobby music producers and mix engineers who want the sound of a rare vintage compressor in their DAW. It runs on Windows, macOS, and Linux in VST and AU formats, making it compatible with FL Studio, Ableton Live, Logic Pro, and other major DAWs.
