StemDeck is a free local stem separation tool for musicians, producers, and hobbyists who want to isolate vocals, drums, bass, guitar, piano, and other parts from a mix. It uses the open-source Demucs htdemucs6s model and automatically picks the best available Torch device—CUDA on NVIDIA, MPS on Apple Silicon, or CPU fallback—so it runs on Windows, macOS, and Linux. You can load local MP3, WAV, FLAC, OGG/Opus, MP4, and M4A files, or paste a YouTube URL. A browser-based multitrack mixer offers mute, solo, balance, waveform zoom, looping, and export, while song analysis reports BPM, key and scale estimation, confidence, integrated LUFS, and sample peak information. A local network option lets you control the library and mixer from another device on the same network, and MP4 export can mux the current mix with the source video. It is aimed at practice, transcription, remixing, and creative audio workflows rather than mastering. Note that it is a standalone utility, not a plugin for your DAW.
