Prisma is a free multiband distortion plugin for Windows and Linux, available in 64-bit VST and VST3 formats. It lets you split your audio into up to four frequency bands and insert up to four processing modules into each band, choosing from sixteen available module types. This makes it possible to apply aggressive distortion to a narrow frequency range for a subtler overall effect, or to distort only the high end of a bass recording while keeping the low end clean. The plugin is aimed at hobby producers who want detailed control over tone shaping and are comfortable experimenting with complex routing. It works in DAWs such as FL Studio, Ableton Live, and Logic, and is useful for sound design, electronic music, and any genre where controlled harmonic coloration matters. The interface supports stacking multiple modules per band, and future updates are planned to add more module types and workflow improvements. No installation beyond placing the plugin in your VST folder is required.
