Red Rock Sound EQP-1A is a Windows equalizer for producers who want broad tonal shaping with a classic tube-EQ character. Inspired by a 1960s program equalizer, it models transformer and tube-amplifier behaviour and includes switchable analog saturation. Use it to adjust low-end weight, shape upper-frequency presence, or balance stereo and mid/side material without relying on narrow corrective EQ moves.
The low section offers boost and attenuation at 20, 30, 60 and 100 Hz. Applying both at the same frequency creates the characteristic resonant shelf response. For the top end, seven boost frequencies run from 3 to 16 kHz, with adjustable bandwidth, while high-shelf attenuation is available at 5, 10 and 20 kHz.
Four independently adjustable EQ units operate in series, with channel assignments for separate processing of mids, sides or multichannel groups. Immersive mixing options include channel linking, 44 routing presets and custom layouts with up to 16 channels.
Available in VST2, VST3 and 64-bit AAX formats, EQP-1A suits hobby producers working in compatible Windows hosts such as FL Studio and Ableton Live, as well as mixers handling immersive sessions.
