Punk Labs OneTrick SIMIAN2 v2.0.1 WiN-MOCHA

Punk Labs OneTrick SIMIAN2 is an open-source drum synthesizer for Windows, built around the electronic percussion character of classic hexagonal kits such as the Simmons SDS-V. It suits hobby producers making synthwave, nu-disco, and other electronic styles that call for punchy synthetic drums rather than acoustic realism.

Its 10 configurable voices cover kicks, snares, toms, cymbals, claves, and claps. Velocity can shape pitch, filtering, and amplitude, helping programmed patterns respond to how you play. A lo-fi EPROM section supplies vintage-style cymbal textures, while per-voice and global saturation add grit. A gated reverb bus and an 1176-style limiter with drive provide further control over space and intensity.

Start with 33 factory preset kits, then organize and edit sounds through the tagged preset browser. Stereo and multi-output routing let you keep the kit together or process its parts separately. All parameters support automation, with nondestructive modulation additionally available in CLAP hosts. Available in VST3, CLAP, and standalone formats, SIMIAN2 fits Windows setups using compatible DAWs such as FL Studio and Ableton Live.
