Audio Assault – Bass Grinder Free version x64 x32 VST AU RTAS WiN OSX [free]

Bass Grinder Free is a stripped-down bass amp plugin built for metal and hard rock productions. Instead of burying you in knobs, it gives you two amplifier models and three cabinet options, so you can drop it on a bass DI track and get a mix-ready aggressive low end almost instantly. The design philosophy is simple: plug in, pick an amp and cab, and let the plugin handle the tone shaping. It’s aimed at hobby producers working in FL Studio, Ableton, or Logic who want a fast, no-fuss way to make bass cut through a dense guitar mix. Because it’s the free edition, the feature set is intentionally limited, but the core sound is the same character as the full version. If you’re recording metal bass at home and need something that sits in the mix without endless tweaking, this is a practical starting point. Available as a VST/AU plugin for both Windows and macOS, with a small download footprint.
