VIRTINS Multi-Instrument Pro 3.7

VIRTINS Multi-Instrument Pro 3.7 is Windows test and measurement software for examining audio signals in the time, frequency and time-frequency domains. Rather than a sound-generating VST instrument, it provides an oscilloscope, spectrum analyzer, signal generator and multimeter for producers, audio hobbyists and technicians who want to investigate signals or test audio equipment.

The software can use a PC sound card for input and output, with sampling rates up to 192 kHz and resolution up to 24 bits when supported by the hardware. It also works with compatible external ADC and DAC devices, including NI DAQmx hardware, VT DSOs and VT RTAs.

Version 3.7 adds AM, FM and PM demodulation for oscilloscope analysis, corresponding modulation options in the signal generator, and DC removal and waveform rectification processing. Spectrum analysis includes sound loudness, loudness level, and weighted or unweighted wow and flutter measurements.

For more specialized measurement tasks, Spectrum 3D Plot, Data Logger, LCR Meter, Device Test Plan and Vibrometer are available as separately purchased add-ons. This is a measurement utility, not a confirmed DAW plugin format.
