AcmeBarGig BIG WIN VST x86 [FREE]

BIG (Bass Integrated Gain) is a free bass amp and effects suite for Windows VST hosts, aimed at hobby producers who want deep control over their bass tone without spending money. It combines a twin-12AX7 preamp with individually bypassable tubes, a tweakable tonestack EQ, two adjustable crossovers and two filters for shaping the amp’s core character. AcmeBarGig’s ‘Gut’ technology lets you modify internal amp behavior, while the Granite and Phoenix compressors handle dynamics. A built-in noise gate keeps things clean at high gain, and the proprietary cabinet shaper emulates a wide range of cabinets—bypassable for use with external IRs. All features can be switched off individually. A preset manager with web sharing lets you upload and download presets. It runs as a 32-bit VST plugin (x86) and is best suited to FL Studio and other Windows DAWs, though 64-bit hosts may need a bridge. Ideal for bassists and producers seeking a flexible, free bass amp sim with unusual tweakability.
