Puremagnetik Tensol is a sound-design effect that reshapes incoming audio using string-tension resonance, granular chopping, stretching and a variable delay line. Rather than generating sounds from scratch, it processes your existing material, turning familiar recordings into altered textures, fragmented phrases and shifting repeats.
The signal passes through a resonator before being sliced, warped and rearranged. Pitch processing adds another layer of variation, with semitone shifts for defined intervals or tape-style pitch scaling for a different approach to changing pitch. Together, these processes offer ways to explore both the timing and harmonic character of a sound.
For less predictable starting points, Jumble mode randomizes every control. It is useful when you want to step away from deliberate adjustments and hear combinations you might not otherwise try.
Tensol suits hobby producers, sound designers and electronic musicians who enjoy experimenting with audio rather than simply polishing it. Use it to investigate new phrasing, reshape harmonic content or develop unusual variations from material already in your project.
