Ample Sound Ample Bass Acoustic is a sampled acoustic bass instrument built around the Guild B-54 CE. It gives home producers and songwriters a way to program detailed bass parts without recording a live player, from restrained accompaniment to expressive solo lines.
Its 4.89 GB library includes recordings from every fret, with microphone and DI signals that can be blended and processed separately. Choose stereo mic playback for width or mono modes for a more centered bass sound. Articulations include palm mutes, harmonics, hammer-ons, pull-offs, slides, slap, pop and dead notes, while alternate tunings extend down to B0.
For writing parts, the Riffer editor offers control over note timing, velocity, articulation, vibrato and bends. A rule-based riff generator supplies starting ideas, and the bass Tab Player turns tablature into performances with adjustable humanization. Built-in processing covers eight-band EQ, compression, six-tap echo and convolution reverb.
For Windows setups, Ample Bass Acoustic requires a 64-bit system and supports VST2 and VST3 hosts such as FL Studio and Ableton Live. The listed storage requirement is 10 GB.
