BLEASS Megalit is a Windows software synthesizer that combines wavetable synthesis with classic subtractive oscillators. It suits hobby producers and sound designers who want to build layered patches and detailed modulation without navigating an overly technical interface.
Its 135 wavetables offer position and fold controls for reshaping oscillator tones, while per-oscillator unison adds layers within a single instance. A noise generator with separate high-pass and low-pass filtering helps create non-tonal textures and supporting sound components. Resonant filters, waveshaping and bit-crushing can process individual oscillators or oscillator pairs, giving you control over where tonal shaping and distortion are applied.
For evolving sounds and rhythmic movement, Megalit includes four LFOs with adjustable timing curves and output smoothing, plus a Motion Sequencer for repeating modulation patterns. Performance-controller response curves are saved with each patch, so expressive control remains consistent when recalling sounds. A patch randomizer offers starting points for experimentation, and the built-in multiband upward/downward compressor lets you refine dynamics and punch. Visual feedback helps make complex settings easier to follow while programming.
