Glitchmachines Quadrant 2 is a modular effects plugin and sound generator for electronic producers who enjoy building unusual textures, rhythmic patterns and evolving patches. Use it to reshape drum loops, process soft synths or experiment with audio from external hardware. It can also create self-generating sounds without relying on an incoming audio signal.

The workspace holds up to 12 modules, selected from a collection of 50 oscillators, effects, sequencers and utilities. Virtual cables let you define the routing rather than follow a fixed processing chain. Each module slot provides up to four input and output nodes, with built-in attenuators and support for multiple signals per node. This makes intricate modulation and unconventional signal paths part of the everyday workflow.

Version 2 expands the original design with four extra slots, 14 new modules and a scalable interface. More than 100 factory patches provide starting points for both audio processing and internally generated sounds, while the preset bank system helps organize additional collections. For Windows users working in FL Studio or Ableton Live, Quadrant 2 offers a 64-bit VST3 option for exploratory sound design.
