DSK – The Grand x64 x32 VST AU WiN OSX [free]

DSK The Grand is a free sampled grand piano instrument for producers who want piano parts in their tracks without recording an acoustic instrument. It suits hobby musicians writing chord progressions, melodic hooks or piano-led arrangements, with a focused set of controls for adjusting the sound.

The instrument uses four velocity layers and four to six samples per note. Its velocity-based sampling lets different playing strengths draw on different layers, giving you a way to shape a performance through MIDI note velocity rather than volume alone.

An ADSR envelope provides control over the attack, decay, sustain and release of the sound. Use it to adjust how notes begin, hold and fade, depending on the role the piano needs to play in your arrangement. Included reverb adds space around the piano without requiring a separate reverb plugin.

For Windows users working in a compatible VST host such as FL Studio or Ableton Live, The Grand offers a straightforward option for building sampled piano parts. Check that the available plugin version matches your host’s supported architecture before installing.
