Ample Sound Ample Bass P v3.2 is a sampled electric bass instrument built around the sound of a Fender Precision Bass. It suits home producers and songwriters who want to program expressive bass parts without recording a live player. The Windows version requires a 64-bit system and supports VST2, VST3 and AAX, with standalone operation also available.

Its playing techniques include sustain, palm mute, harmonics, hammer-ons, pull-offs, slides, slap, pop and dead notes. Fingering noise and adjustable buzzing help add performance detail, while polyphonic legato and alternate tuning down to B offer more ways to shape a line.

For tone shaping, the built-in amp section provides three amplifier models, four cabinet configurations and selectable microphones. EQ, compression, a six-tap echo and convolution reverb handle further processing.

Riffer 2 lets you edit note articulation, velocity, vibrato and bends, or generate riff ideas with its Dice function. A tablature player can load compatible guitar and bass tab files, play individual tracks and export audio when used inside a DAW.
